Flem Whited, nationally recognized DUI defense attorney, was a featured speaker at the annual National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ three day DUI seminar, “The Art & Science of DUI Defense” in Las Vegas on September 11, 12 and 13 of 2014. The seminar was attended by 500 defense attorneys from around the country.
Mr. Whited addressed the group about search warrants in light of the U.S. Supreme Court opinion of Missouri v. McNeely, wherein Chief Justice Roberts cited Mr. Whited’s treatise Drinking/Driving Litigation as authority in the field. Mr. Whited also conducted a workshop on cross-examining the arresting officer.
Mr. Whited is now of counsel to the Rice & Rose Law Firm at 222 Seabreeze Blvd. in Daytona Beach, Florida.
